Reviews For Clamp Lid Stainless Steel Food Container

Fantastic containers (just not 100% watertight)

These were a great price and we've been using them for salads, sandwiches, etc. For my child, I'll put a sandwich (cut in half, with the two halves stacked) with a silicone muffin cup or two next to it, for things like cut up fruit, carrot sticks, dried fruit, etc. It's the perfect all-in-one lunch container. We found some silicone muffin cups from IKEA that are tall, and they come right up to the lid so there's no spilling. For myself, this is my new favorite salad container. I can pack a nice sized salad and tuck a little stainless steel mini cup in there with salad dressing. It's not 100% water tight so I wouldn't use it for soup or something, but I have used it for wet (not runny) things and it was fine. The clamps are definitely snug, but they are fully operable and my 6 year old can use them with no problem. The 3 year old doesn't have the hand strength to use them yet.

One good, one not so good

I ordered two of these tins. One of them the clamp doesn't stay closed. Just flops around.

My new favorite food container

Really seals the food up which is perfect for keeping food fresh. This is the only container i can use for my salads. If I use regular plastic tupperware, it ends up being soggy by lunch time.

Lid is way too tight

I like the product and the size is perfect for something like a full sandwich or some salad but the lid is so tight I struggle every time to remove.
