Why You’ll Love It
About This Brand
Started by street vendors in Harlem in 1991, Nubian Heritage rose from humble beginnings to bring culturally authentic healing traditions from ancient Nubia to the modern world.
Nubian Heritage draws its inspiration from Ancient Nubia, which was once a center of cultural trade — a place where goods, ideas, and customs from across Africa, Asia, the Middle East, and the Mediterranean came together, influenced each other, and then spread across the world.
The company brings new life to traditional healing practices, cultural wisdom and indigenous ingredients, resulting in ancient takes on modern solutions for skin and hair. Nubian Heritage continuously develops new products and remedies, and plans to create more in the future. Although, what will never change are how their products are made and the values they carry. All products by Nubian Heritage are:
- Cruelty Free
- Fair Trade
- No Antibiotics / Synthetic Hormones
- Paraben Free
- Salt Free
- Soy Free
Nubian Heritage’s products
The company offers a wide range of skin and hair products that draw on plants and other natural ingredients. They create fragrant, incredibly moisturizing and nourishing washes, soaps, lotions and more with blends of shea butter, floral combinations, and classic essential oils. Whether you’re looking for a rich, full body moisturizer or an aromatic bath bar, these luxurious products have you covered from head to toe. Here are the company’s current offerings:
This nutrient-rich, sweet-scented body lotion is created from our original blend of pure shea butter, aloe vera, vitamin E, softening coconut oil, and vitamin-rich papaya. It provides superior, lasting hydration for dry, aging skin. Daily use will result in softer, youthful looking skin.

Shea butter and coconut oil rehydrate skin, improving suppleness and protecting against moisture loss.

It’s infused with a special essential oil blend made up of frankincense, myrrh, cardamom, ginger and black pepper, which adds an aromatic experience and and provides skin-healing properties. Frankincense is known to help tone and reverse time on your skin, as well as add aroma therapeutic benefits. Myrrh is known as a superior cosmetic in early remedies and helps to heal chapped skin, while shea butter has the highest level of healing and rejuvenating properties. Lastly, soy milk and vitamin E help to regenerate damaged tissue and promote quick healing of skin cells.
Combining the protective, healing and rejuvenating qualities of hemp seed oil, shea butter, sunflower oil, aloe vera and vitamin E, this collection provides benefits to all skin types.
