My Pug Loves Organix

I have a pug and try to feed him the healthiest, most Organic diet possible. He loves Organix. I sprinkle a little bit of cheese on it for him, like less than a teaspoon, and he gobbles this up. I only use apx 1/2 cup of this for his evening meal. In the morning, he gets ground turkey with an oatmeal mix or sweet potato. He's super healthy and I attribute a lot of it to his diet and exercise!

organix dog food

My dog loves this. However, he is 75 lbs. So it would be great to have larger sizes of Organix dog food.
Thanks.

6 years and still healthy

I've given this to my Border Collie since he was a puppy. He remains happy and healthy and I remain a loyal customer. I keep his food in a 5 gallon bucket and although I mix other brands into it, Organix is always the main component and always will.

Not completely organic meat sources, but they try

Just so no one is misled by the way the description and packaging is worded, this is not completely organic food. The company use mostly organic ingredients; however, the poultry meal is not organic. If all the meat sources were organic, I'd be sold. Poultry meal (labled as such because anything "chicken" must be organic since the front starts they use organic chicken) is a great source of concentrated protein, unlike whole chicken because once the water is removed during the drying process, this can often make up very little of the protein source. It is listed first because the ingredient list is based on precooking ratios - the final product has much less whole chicken since it is mostly water. Again, poultry meal is a great second ingredient as a rule (it is not by-product meal which it is often mistaken for); however, the company has stated that they cannot find a distributor of organic chicken meal. Once they can or start producing their own ingredients, this food can be certified organic across the board and is very good quality. My biggest concern in my dogs' food is the meat source, and unfortunately this food just doesn't delivery on their goal.
