Puppy loves this mix! I usually pour a little chicken broth on it but puppy eats it dry as well with no problem. Good size kibble and quality ingredients.

Great Quality!

This is the only dog food we buy for our pup! It's great quality and love that its small so she doesn't choke since she doesn't know how to slowly eat. Only warning is to read the entire back portion, the chart gives the amounts but in the print it says to only give 75% of that amount on the chart. A little confusing to figure out at first, we learned the hard way of our pup getting sick from to much food so make sure to read it all carefully.

New puppy can't get enough

Posted   by Lauren from California
When we brought home our 8 week old puppy, they sent us home with a bag of the Kirkland dog food she had been eating, and warned us that any food change we wanted to make needed to be very gradual (over 2-3 weeks) otherwise she would get diarrhea. She ate a 75/25 ratio of old/new food for the first few days, and then refused to eat it at all. I tried feeding her 100% old food and she wouldn't eat it. Then I tried giving her 100% of this food and she couldn't get enough. If I sprinkled even a little of the old food in with this, she wouldn't eat it. I was really nervous to see how her stomach and bowels would react to eating 100% of this food, but I figured if I had to choose between diarrhea and her not eating, we would feed her the new food and see how it goes. She hasn't had diarrhea once! I like to think that it's due to the high quality of this food that it didn't upset her stomach. We would highly recommend this to new puppy owners!
