These were good but not great. Easy to make but honestly I could have thrown together something similar on my own.

A Little Crumbly

Posted   by Eulene from Cincinnati, Ohio
This is a little crumbly and you must refrigerate once made. I did not refrigerate and white mold came on within 3 1/2 days of making this.

Simply the Best

Posted   by Avery from NYC, New York
I love the convenience of protein bars, but not the cost or sugar content. This mix gives me the best of both worlds: healthy, delicious protein bars that are also super affordable. I find them more satiating than raw nuts, and I also appreciate that they have a variety of ingredients (so I'm not consuming thousands of almonds every year). My standard (low-sugar) recipe: 1 package mix + 1 banana + 1/4 cup nut butter + 3/4 cup water. Mash ingredients together in a large mixing bowl. Distribute mixture in a square baking dish and allow to set in the freezer for 30 minutes. Once set, slice into bars and store in the fridge. In the fall I like to substitute the banana with 1 cup pumpkin puree, and in the winter I like to add a dash of peppermint extract.
