very misleading size
I thought these were two of the larger stock cartons, I feel very duped. I've never even seen them in the stores in this individual milk-sized carton, I think it's very misleading and misrepresentative...very disappointing they don't carry the "normal" size broth.
Ordered this for my brother who is recovering from throat cancer and currently has feed tube so wanted something with low sodium

I Didn't Realize How Small the Cartons were
I didn't realize how small the cartons were, but I do love the product itself! Tastes great. I just wish Thrive carried a larger size!
Agree with other reviews. This is the perfect size and sodium free. No more worrying about buying in the larger size and throwing out half of it. Quinoa tastes great cooked in this!

These are the PERFECT size! No more worrying about waste like with the larger containers. Adds really great flavor when cooking Quinoa! I wish the price was more comparable per ounce to the 1 Quart product in supermarkets, but overall still relieved to have this smaller size when cooking for 1 or 2 people.
I use vegetable broth for soups, marinating veggies for roasting/broiling, and by itself when I'm sick. My body doesn't tolerate much salt, so this was perfect. It tasted fresh, not bland or disgusting like other unsalted veggie broths from the supermarket, and I love that it is available in 8oz... I only cook for one, and the larger containers always end up in the fridge going bad long after I first open them!
Great to cook with
We used this to cook a rice, quinoa mix and it gave great flavor with very little effort!
Great for travel or if you don't like having leftover stock in the fridge.
For sauteeing - SUPER small container
I think these are great - but this size is really only useself if using broth for something other than soup. I didn't pay attention to size and got this to make a soup base - I would need 10 of these! But flavor is great and I recommend if you need it for smaller purposes!

I love this broth but the 8 oz. size is ridiculous. The extra packaging seems unnecessary. If Thrive offers this in a larger size, I will happily buy this product again!

I bought this not realizing it is UNsalted. Low sodium is great, but no salt whatsoever makes for using a lot of salt at the dinner table. Not a hit. Next time I'll read the fine print.
Best vegan stock!
If you are a vegan or vegetarian, or just trying to cut down on the amount of cholesterol and fat in some meals, this stock can be amazing.
It is unsalted so you do have to be mindful that you would have to season it to your preference, otherwise it is too bland.
Another plus, is that if you don't cook in large portions, the small containers help keep the contents fresher.

I Wish All Stock Came Like This!
I wish that a stock came in containers like this and tasted this great. I make a lot of soup during the winter months and use this as a base sometimes. I love that the containers are portioned out and resealable! They are Certified Organic and Gluten-Free which makes this product superior to most.
What i didn't like what that I had to buy a bunch. I wish they came in a 12 pack or 6 pack. That way its almost a grab-n-go. I love this product and would buy it again regardless just, maybe in bulk.

Everything about this stock is great. The only ingredients are carrots, celery, onion, leeks, mushrooms, and water. There are no unrecognizable ingredients I need to worry about plus it is organic, gluten free, and non GMO! On top of all the healthy goodness, it tastes delicious too! I definitely recommend.

I love these small containers! AND it's no salt added! As a 2 person household, these small containers are perfect! No leftovers to be wasted.
I love these little cartons! I keep one opened in my frig to grab when sauteing veggies in broth instead of oil. I used to open a 32 oz veggie broth/stock, but with this, it stays fresher while opened in my frig. It gives a lovely flavor; not overpowering. I will always keep this in stock in my pantry.
