Reviews For Wassail Mulling Spice Blend
Based on 10 Reviews
I actually use this to make mulled wine. I wish I was a fancy person that actually enjoys wine, but alas, I am not that person. I'm actually not fond of alcohol in general , but I LOVE the mulled wine I make with this.
(Ok, so I also cook off the alcohol... Don't worry wine fans, I'm not using good expensive wine.)
I just love the cozy feeling I have when drinking a warm glass of mulled wine and this blend does not disappoint.
After reading the reviews, I plan to try it with tea and coffee soon!
I haven't tried this myself. I bought it as a gift for someone else and they love it.
Mmmm Mmmm Good!
The Spice Blend adds a delicious taste and aroma when mixed in tea, coffee, red wine, white wine, lemonade, or just plain waster.
I tried this on a lark because the price was SO amazing. I'm now a fan. The flavor is really satisfying--sweet and spicy. I've had it with apple juice and with tea.
Great for fried apples or applesauce
Used it today 2-6 for the first time, made fried apples. Just the right spice blend, a great deal. Plan on using for applesauce next!
Great in coffee!
I liked the new Holiday Spice Flat White at Starbucks, so I thought I'd try making something similar at home. Adding a couple teaspoons of this mulling spice to a cup of coffee makes a really tasty drink!
Popular at my house
My kids love this. It's a perfect warm treat for the winter days coming up.
not what i expected
I've only bought mulling spices that have whole pieces in them - cinnamon sticks, whole cloves, etc. I like the look of it. This jar was the consistency of sugar. While it dissolves quickly, I prefer the old fashioned mulling spices.
I ordered this without checking the ingredients, the first of which is sugar. What I wanted was whole spices for mulling. I used it in apple cider and was not impressed. Not very flavorful.
When it's cold outside, what is better than a hot cup of mulled wine? Nothing! This is a great mix that really brings out the spiciness and sweetness of the season.
