Upping my Chicken Game
I was getting a little sick of my chicken game. Oh, another Wednesday. Another chicken night.
I was looking for some new spices without a bunch of junk in them. I live in the sticks and new, good spices are hard to come by. I went to the grocery store and was disappointed and how dead the spices looked.
Ordered these instead. They look fresh and bright, and taste that way too. I like to add a little of the Fire to my husbands and just a drop with mine. Keeps the marital taste buds happy.
The taste, texture and smell of this spice is incredible. Since I’ve bought it has been used on my eggs every day. Finally finding a spice that is easy on the pocket and is Paleo and Whole 30 approved is revolutionizing.

"Wind" blew my socks off!
I bought the Wind blend from Spice Cave on the suggestion of a friend. I eat a lot of chicken, and it can get pretty old sometimes using the same seasonings - so I was pretty excited to get a bit of variety in my life.
I put a generous amount on to a nice hand cut chicken breast before throwing it into the oven. The aromatic presence in my house was insanely good. I was salivating in the office down the hall as the chicken cooked.
The things I noticed with the Wind blend was that it tasted fresh, it had a nice mix of herbs to give it that natural flavor I really like. The orange peel was a bit surprising and very very very light - you could only just taste it, but what you could taste gave it a nice bit of citrus pop to offset the herbs.
All in I'd say the spice blend itself wasn't very strong and didn't overpower the chicken much - it was a nice balanced mix of flavors, and my home still smells delicious!
As an avid chicken eater, I'll be using this A LOT.

This is our new go-to poultry seasoning. Also really good on veggies and turkey burgers!
