About This Brand

One-step spice blends and pastes for authentic Indian meals. Born in India, Sukhi Singh learned the art of cooking Indian foods as a young girl from her grandmother. Sukhi soon found herself cooking for large family gatherings, and she has been an avid chef ever since.A well-known teacher among chefs, Sukhi’s first profession was, not surprisingly, teaching. She earned a Masters degree in English literature from Meerut University in India before moving to England for her husband’s Indian Air Force posting. The family then moved back to India. Along the way, Sukhi taught school, opened her own primary school, gained expertise in India’s many regional cuisines and created her one-step pastes for quick, home-cooked Indian meals for her busy family. She moved to the United States in 1985 and expanded her teaching career to the culinary arts. Hers is a classic immigration tale – her entire family pitched in, working seven days a week. The family’s first business - a neighborhood deli in...

Exactly what you'd expect

It's nice to buy a product for the first time and find it tastes exactly as you expect it to. This is fabulous chutney. Period.

Mango Chutney

Great layering of sweet and spicy flavors. Great spread on a rice wrapper and rolled up with veggies. Mouth watering goodness! I reordered this product right away.

Okay, but I'm Fussy

I like pieces of mango in my chutney and a less spicy taste. I guess I'm a chutney snob.

Bring back the Tomato chutney

I've bought the Mango and Tomato chutneys and found them very delicious. Sorry to see that the Tomato chutney is out and seems not to be on the list of return. Please, if possible, restock these.

Great on Sandwiches

I really enjoy this chutney on sandwiches. The mango adds a flavor that is unique and fresh. It is awesome.

Really good chutney

I like this chutney. It has the authentic taste of Indian chutney and it's all natural too. The way I use it is different, though, preferring it as an alternative to jams and jellies. I especially like it on scones and croissants and with less sugar, I always feel like I'm getting away with eating some decadent but healthy.

Perfect!

I used to reserve the mango chutney for parties. I would put out a lovely cheese, finger sandwiches, and pita chips platter for guests to nosh on while having cocktails and waiting for dinner.

It was just too expensive for everyday use, even with our membership to the local warehouse store. Then I found Thrive Market. All of their membership prices are discounted bigtime. Our membership has paid for itself several times over with the savings.

Mango-licious

Mango chutney has a taste all its own. It's something that, while it might take a little getting used to, you will fancy. It's great with other fruit, and it makes a wonderful and tasty salad dressing.

Try it out on your next ham sandwich for something new and fun.

Diverse

This chutney is very diverse. I like it with crackers and cheese especially, but I also put it on sandwiches and like it on my salads as well. It has a full bodied flavor and is a great accent to sandwiches and cheese. I like to mix it with a little bit of vinegar and oil and make my own Mango Chutney Vinegarette for salads-it is amazing!

- Stefen

I like it.

On the mild side, with smaller chunks of mango than I prefer, but far less sweet than the typical mango chutneys available. Overall, I like it.
