About This Brand

We have one of those stories… the kind that started bad, turned out glad and exemplifies the American dream. In 1996, Tom lost his job in corporate America and found inspiration in his culinary creativity, instilled by his food-loving family. For years, we had been crafting edible gifts that we gifted to friends at the holidays. With some apprehension and loads of hopeful anticipation, we launched Urban Accents in our small kitchen with 12 original spice blends. Over the past few decades, we’ve grown to over 150 gourmet products but still craft in small batches and always use unique ingredients.Urban Accents is your culinary wingman and always has your back in the kitchen. Our focus is on quality and creative flavors. We make unique seasonings and mixes with worldly ingredients that we love to cook and serve to our own friends and family. We are continually amazed at how many likeminded culinary enthusiasts have joined our flavor journey.

Reviews For Brine Bag

Experience led me to the Brine Bag

The review title puts in a nutshell why I bought a Brine Bag. The only time I brine a turkey is for Thanksgiving, and for 2 years I used a pot, then "discovered" the bag, which proved a great improvement. There's no difference in taste or moistness, but handling a bagged turkey has great advantages to the additional heft and awkwardness of handling a pot full of sloshing liquid. Keep in mind there is a turkey size/weight limitation, so if you need more turkey, my advice would be to buy 2 turkeys and 2 Brine Bags. Again - handling a large pot plus the pot, turkey, and liquid weight is quite a struggle.

A+ for thanxgiving

I brined a 20lb turkey and was very impressed with how well the bag sealed in the liquid as I had to lean the top part on it's side to fit in my fridge, no leaks!
Will definitely be using this in the future.
