Why You’ll Love Raw Cacao Powder
Chocolate has been a dessert staple for centuries and often appears in treats like candy, cakes, molé, and coffee. Now with Divine Organics Raw Cacao Powder you can get that same chocolate flavor with plenty of great benefits, too. From hot chocolate to baked goods to protein shakes, it’s a key ingredient no kitchen should be without.
Close to cocoa, but so far away
While cocoa and cacao are similar in terms of the types of products they create, they’re very different in a lot of other ways. Chocolate of all forms derives from cacao beans found on the cacao plant. The beans are then put through a cold-pressing process that separates it from the cacao butter, and are then milled into a fine powder.
The big difference between cocoa and cacao, however, lies in this process. Since it’s cold-pressed, it means the cacao beans are able to retain their enzymes, vitamins, nutrients, and minerals found inside. In fact, cacao is still essentially raw—unlike cocoa, which is heated and added with sugar and dairy.
Why Divine Organics Raw Cacao Powder is a great choice
Raw cacao is a better choice for those that want the great taste of chocolate while still sticking to health goals. But not all cacao is created equal—here’s why Divine Organics Raw Cacao Powder stands out.
- Organic: Like its name says, Divine Organics Raw Cacao Powder is entirely organic, only using cacao beans that have been grown and harvested without chemical pesticides, herbicides, or fertilizers.
- Non-GMO: This cacao powder is also sourced from family-owned, non-GMO farms, adding a layer of confidence so you can rest easy knowing that your cacao is entirely natural, just as nature intended.
- Dairy-free and gluten-free: No dairy or wheat is found in Divine Organics Raw Cacao Powder, making it a perfect choice for those who are lactose intolerant, have gluten sensitivities, or celiac disease.
- Chemical-free: No chemicals are used during the processing of Divine Organics Raw Cacao Powder, either. The low temperature separation of the cacao butter means that it’s a raw food, and can be enjoyed as such.
- Cold-pressing process: Divine Organics Raw Cacao Powder uses a cold-pressing process to separate cacao butter from the cacao beans. This means that the antioxidants and nutrients are unharmed, providing the best possible nutrition to those using the powder.

Reviews For Raw Cacao Powder

This cacao powder is great! I mix it with a greens supplement to curb the grassy flavor and add a flavonoid boost. It turns the greens into a real treat! When I mix it in my nutribullet, it dissolves easily in water.
A different smell and taste (more citrusy and coffee-ish), really raw, a great way for baking or cooking...
Perfect for Smoothies
I add this raw cacao powder to my almond milk smoothies, it's the best!!
I use this daily
I've been using cacao daily as an addition to my meals/snacks for a couple years. It's very versatile and I add it to practically anything (smoothies, yogurt, plant-based milk, hot cereal, on top of fruit, etc. ) One of my favorite things to do is mix it with water and maybe some pb2 powder and make a spread out of it to add onto toast or to dip fruit in! Delicious & I love how cheap the price is because typically my love for cacao would hurt my budget but Thrive offers great prices! The texture of this cacao has also been my favorite-nice and fluffy, not as dry as some brands.
Love the price. The Cacao has an excellent taste and I love the remarks I get when I take a chocolate dessert to a gathering.
Keep this product.
I'm quite a chocolate fiend. I use this regularly in my kefir smoothies. It's mild and good, plus I like that it is raw.
Tastes great and an amazing deal! Use this all the time. Smoothies, hot chocolate, cacao brownies. Love it!
This doesn't seem to taste as good as some other brands, but is still very good. It carries a warning on the back that it may contain high levels of lead and/or cadmium, so I did some research, and it turns out that a lot of cocoa and cacao powder, not just this one, are contaminated with heavy metals. I don't know if that means this company is just honest enough to disclose it, or if it has exceptionally high lead/cadmium levels, but I'm afraid I have to add cacao to my list of contaminated foods. Is there anything safe left to eat?
I just started making my own chocolate, and the cacao powder I got from Thrive is wonderful.. great price too.. cheaper than Amazon or ebay, even though I was under $50 and paid shipping charges.
the chocolate is delicious!
thanks for your wonderful service Thrive...

Simply the Best...
Love it! I use in in my smoothies in the morning, and I warm-up some almond milk and make 'hot chocolate' at night! You gotta get this stuff!
Amazing product and value!
I love ordering this bag, so much value for $10, it lasts a long time! I love that it's raw, healthy chocolate and I love using it for smoothies, avocado pudding and baking!
I love this cacao powder! Delicious, nutritious and fairly sourced. I put it straight in my coffee with a little coconut sugar, and use for baking treats. The very best. Also a great quantity for the price!
There's a lot of product for the price, and the value is good. I find that cacao powder has a fainter taste than cocoa powder, so I up the amount in recipes in which I usually use cocoa powder.
A one pound bag lasts me 3 months, and I use this regularly in my morning shakes. Love this product!
I've bought this twice already and love it! Great flavor that agrees well with my sensitive stomach.
Live this cacao - smooth and great chocolate taste! I use it in smoothies, puddings, and oatmeal.
This is the only brand of cacao I've ever tried, but I love it so much that I don't really want to bother trying another. I love it in my smoothies and oatmeal. Smooth, rich, chocolaty!
