Why You’ll Love It

Ajino-haha' Mirin is traditionally made in Japan of U.S.A. Lundberg organic short grain brown rice, brewed in cedar kegs. Essential in dashi noodle broth, teriyaki sauce, marinades, and sushi rice. About This Brand

Based in the southern part of Michigan, Eden Foods is an American food producer that specializes in traditional Japanese products, such as buckwheat soba noodles and umeboshi paste. A range of traditional pantry foods, like apple butter and sauerkraut, rounds out their product selection. How Eden Foods got started Nowadays, organic foods are everywhere, but that wasn’t always the case. In fact, not long ago it was fairly difficult to obtain organic products. Seeing this gap in the market, a group of young entrepreneurs were inspired to come up with a way to provide healthy organic food, and created the Eden Foods Co-op in 1968. The co-op was an instant success, finding a large following, mainly of students at the University of Michigan in the college town of Ann Arbor. These bohemian scholars (who were weary of unrefined processed foods) would stop by the co-op to pick up organic vegetables and wholesome foods. Soon, Eden Foods became a community of like-minded individuals...

Reviews For Mirin Cooking Rice Wine

Based on 4 Reviews

Great flavor

This mirin offers a great flavor that not all mirin's provide. It is the kind of cooking rice wine that is both sweet and tangy at the same time. The tang sort of just cooks off as you simmer your rice. I really like it. This particular brand is high quality and flavorful.

I have needed this for several recipes and not been able to find it in the local store. I was so excited to find it on here and at such a fair price. I have a fantastic stir fry recipe that uses mirin-its incredible.

Found It Here

It's been nearly impossible to find this in stores near me, and after the closest Asian cooking store closed, I haven't been able to find it locally. Thank you so much for carrying it, Thrive. This has been one of my favorite mirin rice wines. It has a nice, high alcohol content while it doesn't add much sweetness to my cooking at all. It's great.

I really love this cooking wine

This Cooking Rice Wine is great. It tastes great with chicken and season all and it also tastes great in stir fries and sauteed vegetables. I really enjoyed the flavor of this rice wine and my family seemed to as well. It tastes high quality and is very affordable.
