Reviews For Beef Apple and Uncured Bacon Bar
Based on 25 Reviews
I love these for an on-the-go snack to keep me full. The flavor is delicious, but the texture throws me off a little. I expected them to be harder, but they remind me of the texture of spam. Other than the texture, they're pretty good.
power for after school practice
Great for high school athlete. My 16 year old son loves them!
My favorite Epic Bar flavor
This bar is my favorite Epic bar flavor. I like that it's pretty low in sugar too. Not everyone will be a fan of the consistency (of Epic bars in general), but I personally really like them.
Epic beef bars
These are a staple in my "keep with me" emergency food supplies as well as just to enjoy. Really delicious!
Protein, Portability & Pleasant.
I was introduced to Epic Beef Bars some time ago and the Beef Apple and Uncured Bacon Bars are pretty good. Dietary standards are great, taste is mild & very slightly sweet (the apple is audacious!), and the texture is good. I like these & recommend them.
I had not tried this flavor of the Epic bars before and was a little nervous about ordering a whole box of them but they're really good and this won't be the last time I order these. Great for a snack or an on-the-go meal.
My men and boys really like these bars and I feel good giving them to them.
These bars are the best thing ever! Since I follow an AIP diet, this gives me freedom to hike, shop, or whatever I want to do that may take longer than a couple of hours. I always have one in my purse!!
Super tasty and toddler approved.
So weird but in a good way
Needing more protein in my diet I was drawn to this bar. Paleo friendly, grass fed beef, apples. All the ingredients told me it had to be a good choice, right? I was expecting a bar....like most protein bars. Turns out it is a meat bar. Kinda like a pepperoni stick but in a bar. I was expecting something different, was pleasantly surprised, and I like it. A little too salty for my taste (probably the bacon) but I will order again because I like food on the run!

I really love the Epic brand in general, and these bars are one of my favorites.
I bought these to minimize fear of not having compliant snacks on hand for my first Whole30. I have to say I was pleasantly surprised at the taste and texture. Looking forward to trying other flavors. Agree with other reviewer that this is a great intro to grassfed beef/uncured bacon snacks.
Not my favorite
I did not like this flavor much at all. I really like a couple of the other ones made by epic so much more.

Epic beef bars
Love these bars! I keep one with me for any time a need some quick protein! I've also shared with a neighbor who is a police officer. He loves them also :)
Beef Apple and Bacon
Best Beef Jerky product I have eaten!
Such a delicious nutritious way to get my B vitamins and good fats and proteins on the go! Grass fed is the only acceptable way to raise beef :)
Well Developed Taste
I love that this bar not only packs a punch with protein, but also has a very well developed and complex beef/bacon taste that is super yummy. I have purchased more of the bars and look forward to adding them to my diet.
I have been on the quest for protein bars that are filling, taste good, and are created by an ethical Company for good nutrition. This Company is what I was looking for. I have liked the Turkey, Cranberry bar...but this one is tops on the list. Texture, flavor, amount of protein, and good long shelf-life♥
Great taste and nice texture, these are great for making sure I have a substantial snack when I'm on the go. No harmful ingredients, filling without leaving me with a heavy feeling.
This bar is a great combo - nutritious grass-fed beef, savory bacon, and sweet apple. It has a really nice texture, and I think this is probably a good one to try if you're new to Epic products. Great snack.
Healthy filling meal on the go
I love eating meat but is hard to find better quality meat for jerky and hard to find it without nitrates. This is not dry jerky . It's definitely high quality food and satisfies my hunger and need for good flavor when I'm out and tempted to eat bad fast food. I pair it with a fruit like a crisp apple and then your meal is complete. It has just enough salt. I don't like protein bars that are nut/fiber/oat based as I get hungry soon after and they are often too sweet. This is the original protein bar!
I have been searching for a jerky type product that does not have a ton of spices because I suffer from reflux and this one makes the cut! Finally! It's the perfect size for a snack, it's delicious and the consistency is not quite jerky but also not too soft.
These are definitely interesting bars. I didn't know that anyone had made Paleo bars. Don't expect a standard nutrition bar taste. These literally taste like dried beef in a bar form. They have a slight apple taste to them, and I mean, they're good, but it's definitely weird. These taste some good used to (how often do you eat room-temperature meats?), but they taste good once you're used to them.

Good Paleo Option
Paleo bars! I didn't even know that was possible! Do you know how hard it is to find a Paleo snack to grab and go? This has made it so much easier. It's really simple to throw one of these into my lunch bags and workout bags, and I never worry about being tempted to cheat or eat something I shouldn't. True Paleo taste. Yum!
