Reviews For Chocolate Hazelnut Butter

This was so much better than I expected. Doesn't really taste like the other popular brand (whose main ingredient is sugar) but I think I might even like this better. Texture is thick but still velvety, and the taste is absolutely addictive (currently eating it off a spoon). It's not cloyingly sweet, but it has a rich hazelnut taste as well as chocolate.
My one issue is I wonder why almonds are added to this mix instead of just using straight up hazelnuts. It almost makes me want to subtract a star, but honestly this is so good I don't want to.
Thrive sells Justin's hazelnut butter for slightly more than the price you can find it in stores. Unfortunately, my local Target has chosen to sell all of the other Justin's flavors except this one. I've been on the hunt for a chocolate nut butter that doesn't list SUGAR as the first ingredient (*cough* Nutella *cough*). This is a legit nut butter that happens to be softly (not sickly sweet) chocolate flavored. If I'm not mistaken, I think it's dairy-free, too.
I highly recommend!!
P.S. If you happen to really like Nutella and want to try this, I think you would still enjoy it!
This stuff is crazy delicious!
I didn't know what to expect with this one. I was looking for an alternative to Nutella. I like the flavor and it is my go to instead of Nutella now!
Satisfies my sweet tooth!
I like this product way better than the popular brand named chocolate hazelnut butter! Way less sugar! Whenever I get a sweet tooth, I head to the cupboard and eat a spoonful:)
I used to be a huge Nutella consumer. Every time I would have a chocolate craving it would be my go-to. I recently decided to try and make it a bit healthier by buying going with Justins! Lower carbs and it's yummy. Just make sure to have some liquid near by,
This is officially our favorite chocolate hazelnut spread. The kids love it as a treat for dessert, spread on a shortbread cookie or in a grain free crepe.
Delicious without too much sugar
Delicious without too much sugar.
LOVE that the first ingredient in not sugar! It taste great and I eat it with bananas, over my toast, over my pancakes or by the spoon. The other sugary popular hazelnut spread is nothing compare to Justin's... This is the real deal and has real ingredients!
I love this stuff!! It's almost like eating brownie batter. So yummy!
I love this spread! It's great over a rice cake for a healthy snack. The taste is to die for
Got a sweet tooth?
Just a spoonful of this will satisfy and sweet tooth craving. Tastes so much better than Nutella and has a lot less sugar.
So, so good! I love that, in addition to being much lower in sugar than other similar spreads, it's also dairy free which is great for the half of my family that doesn't tolerate dairy!
Being a gluten free vegan I can no longer have Nutella but I don't care anymore because this stuff is amazing and has way less sugar! I don't feel as guilty about eating this. Try it out I'm sure you'll love it!
Grab a Spoon
Oh my goodness, this stuff is amazing! I may have eaten the entire jar in two days...don't judge ;)
Say Good Bye...
Say good bye to Hershey's, Cadbury, Ghirardelly, Nestle, Nutella and the like! Spread it on toast? Forget it,this stuff is addictive... get a spoon!
I cringe at the thought of how I used to feed my kids Nutella sandwiches as a morning treat. I was basically giving them bread and frosting for breakfast. I feel way less guilty about treating them to this Justin's hazelnut spread since it's made with organic (not every ingredient is organic) and has way less sugar than Nutella. This spread has 8 grams of sugar per serving compared to the 21 grams Nutella offers. Even frosting in a can has only just 18 grams of sugar per serving! I was worried my kids would not like the switch but they loved Justin's hazelnut spread immediately.
Before buying I read several reviews that dubbed this spread "not sweet enough." To my delight, I did not find this to be the case. In fact, I say its taste trumps Nutella. Maybe it's my paleo-adapted palate, but it's plenty sweet for me! The texture is definitely somewhat thicker/hardier. It's seriously indulgent and a little goes a long way. At Thrive's price I'm happy to have this spread as a pantry staple/convenience item. Tastes great on arrowroot crepes. And I bet I could use it in baking!
Satisfies that sweets craving
This nut butter has much more nutritious ingredients than the typical hazelnut spread. One spoonful as dessert perfectly satisfies my sweet/rich craving.
