Great quick meal

My daughter in law introduced me to this sauce and I really appreciate it. Sauté some chicken and/ or veggies, then pour the sauce over and simmer. Fast, flavorful meal served with naan or rice even after a long, hard day.

- Theresa

So easy

This simmer sauce is everything you need - delicious and easy to use!

- Lauren

I've used other Tikka Masala products, but none come close to the flavor and nasal perfume that this product produces. My family actually asked me after the last Chicken Tikka Masala dinner what was in it.....that was a surprise since they hardly pay attention to who cooks the food, let alone what their eating. I've tried it now in main and side dishes (fish, vegetables and chicken) and it never ceases to maintain the consistency of product - creamy, tasty and full-bodied in aroma.

Finally, an Indian sauce that tastes really good that does not require me to,leave the house. It is definitely mild- perhaps a "2" in a restaurant. Sometimes I add a little more spice, but it is tasty and hearty all on it's own.

I love some Indian food. Especially Tikka Masala and Vindaloo. I have tried making them at home with some luck, but this is SO easy and it's delicious! I no longer try to make it myself. Very easy to make, just cook the chicken and add the sauce and let simmer a bit.

Delicious Easy Dinner

Very pleased with this sauce. It makes for a very easy to prepare and tasty dinner.

- Meredith

Turned me into an Indian Chef!

This jar of wonder sauce took my cubed chicken breast and turned it into a dish the finest Indian restaurant would be proud to serve. It has a great "bite" to it.

Warm and Tasty

This was great for a fast meal. I boiled and shredded some frozen chicken, then cooked it up with this sauce. I served it over rice with a green vegetable on the side. So good! Warm and full of flavor, with just enough spice for this "leave the heat, please" girl. There were so many spice-flavors in this, but I was not overwhelmed with heat. Will buy again, for sure.

- Amanda

Very yummy!

This sauce is delicious and helps during my busy weeknights. You can throw together some stir fried veggies/ protein and add this sauce. Easy and wonderful. I will be buying this again.

Hard to Beat!

This is surprisingly good! The taste is balanced between not too spicy and plenty of flavor. I cut up chicken thighs, butter poached them, drained off the fat, added a can of garbanzo beans and served over rice. SO good! The ingredient deck is short, the price is right and I appreciated that it was in a glass jar. I'm a convert!!

Carrageenan? Seriously?

I don't think any food using carrageenan has a proper place on Thrive.com

- Jonathan

Perfect with Chicken

This is never something I thought I'd buy, but after having a friend request masala at my latest party, I picked up a jar. It's pretty good! She was really complimentary about the dish I'd made, and she said it went really well with the chicken flavors. It's surprising exactly how much flavor this simmer sauce actually adds. I have to admit that I'm glad she requested a dish I'd never made because now I really love masala.

- Traci

Too spicy

I think with Indian food you have to be careful. i really enjoy it, but this wasn't mild by any means. It was really spicy and too hot for my taste. The ingredients are great, and I have to say that is has an authentic Indian flavor, but the sauce is just too hot for me. I'll have to look for one that's a bit milder even though this is supposed to be mild!

- S. Harris

Great for curry

I like Indian food, so finding this simmer sauce was great for me. You can heat it up and serve it right over basmati fragrant rice, or add chicken to the sauce and make a great full meal. The flavor has some kick to it, even though this is mild. I think mild is really in the eye of the beholder, because Indian spices tend to be hotter anyway. But I love it.

- Sam Holt

Great sauce!

I first bought it at T.J. Maxx because I love Indian food and there is none available where I live. This is a delicious sauce and I'm happy to be able to order it from Thrive now!
