Reviews For Throat Coat® Lemon Echinacea Herbal Tea

Based on 8 Reviews

Wouldn't be without it.

I always keep this tea around. It's been great for actual illness, like sore throats, but it's also good for soothing dry or irritated throats from pollution, being around smoke, or mornings after a late night.

- Melissa

Great quality!

Love the added lemon

Really Helps

This tea really helps when your throat is sore. It tastes good enough for what it is and I happen to like lemon so that's good. It soothes the aching throat and makes rest easier as well as swallowing in general. Thank you Traditional Medicinals for helping soothe my sore throat!

Works Great

This tea works incredibly! I drink it whenever I have a sore throat and while it does not "cure it" as one reviewer said, it does coat the throat as it advertises making recovery time shorter. I really enjoy this tea and love that it makes my throat hurt less when I'm not feeling well already.

Soothing but doesn't cure

I know this isn't supposed to be some magic potion tea, but I figured a herbal tea that promotes itself as a throat coat, would work a little bit better than this one. It's a flavorful tea, and has a nice consistency, but when I started getting sick last week and drank cup after cup to get rid of my sore throat, I didn't get much relief at all. I actually got more out of the ginger tea than this one, so though it has a nice flavor, not sure it's great for throats based on my experience.

Works, but lacks a pleasent taste

I was expecting different from this lemon Echinacea herbal tea. It sounded good with marshmallow, licorice and lemon. The taste wasn't that smooth. It had a slight aftertaste I couldn't seem to get rid of.

Echinacea is not a tasty herb, but with the other herbs and sweets mixed in, this tea should have tasted amazing. I will say this, my throat felt better for a bit after drinking most of the cup.

Thanks to Thrive Market, I was able to purchase this tea at a low price and now I can try another one without worry of spending too much.

Delicious and healing

I couldn't be happier that Thrive Market carries Traditional Medicinals. They make the best teas.

I suffer from sore throats often during the weather change and I always try to have some of this on hand. The lemon is just enough to clean the yuck out of my throat and the echinacea works to make me feel better and fight off whatever bug I am suffering from. I love to add a little raw honey to it myself!

Throat Relief in a cup of Tea

I often get sick this time of year. It isn't unusual considering the weather changes that happen just about every other day. 50s today 20s tomorrow. Sunny now, showing later....It really wreaks havic on my health and my throat. Strep goes around this time of year, colds and sinus infections cause sore throats, it feels like an endless cycle at times.

I have tried a myriad of 'cough drops, throat lozenges, and medicines and while some offer minimal relief, this Lemon Echinacea tea really seems to help. I don't even care that it doesn't taste that great-because it really makes me feel better. With just a cup of this tea my throat starts to feel relief and if my throat is hurting a lot I will drink a couple of mugs of this tea throughout the day and by the next day my throat feels all better or almost all better with minimal pain and no more coughing. It is very affordable, and for the throat relief it offers, very worth it!
