Reviews For Gluten-Free All Purpose Baking Flour

Based on 10 Reviews

Recipe Fail/Fell

My poppy seed bread looked beautiful when it came out of the oven and the toothpick came out clean. It fell and had an odd texture. It tasted okay but did not look good. I followed the recipe exactly and the suggestions on the label. The last time I made this recipe, I used Bob's gluten free flour with the blue label and had great results. I hope that Thrive will start carrying the blue label.

Can'f go wrong with Bob's Red Mill products

Always have this in my cupboard. Everything I make turns out great.

Great flour!

I've used Bob's Red Mill all purpose flour before and absolutely love it. It is gluten free and all that I look for in a healthy flour, such as unbleached and organic.

Easy to Use

Why bother with all those complicated gluten free flour combos? I substitute this all-purpose flour, with xanthan gum, in most recipes and they turn out as well as with wheat flour.

- Mary

Versatile

So far I have only used this product to make GF waffles but it worked wonderfully! They were very light and fluffy.

- Julianne

Taste great

My son has a gluten allergy. This is my favorite flour to work with. The whole family loves the taste and when I bake with it no one can tell it's gluten free.

Pleased

I was quite happy with the results after using it recently. I would buy it again. No funky texture or taste

- Joy

Love It

I used this flour to coat my fried chicken. Not expecting much. Boy, was I surprised. Not only did it coat golden brown, but the chicken was crispy, moist and just plain delicious. I can eat gluten-free fried chicken now. Ha! That's about as healthy as fried chicken can get!

- Patricia

Always Love Bob's Red Mill

Big fan of all things Red Mill. I'm not gluten-free but I use this anyway because it's healthier than the wheat alternative. Plus I haven't found a better price elsewhere.

- Henry C.

Baking savior

My boyfriend is gluten free and this is the sole flour I rely on to bake him his favorite treats!
