Winemaker Luca D’Attoma oversees Fonte Barco, an estate nestled in central Italy’s mountainous Abruzzo wine region. The vineyard has been in production for 30 years and relies on sustainable farming practices to both respect the local terroir and to enrich the soil, vines, and fruit. “The goal is to have original and unique wines that express the land where the vines are planted,” D’Attoma shares.
