If your heart belongs to red wine, it’s time to make room for a few new favorites. Our clean wine program takes you from Washington state to the hillsides of Spain to bring you the best in sustainable, biodynamic, and organic wine.
What Is Clean Wine?
We’re enormously proud of our clean wine program, but what does it mean for a producer to have this designation? For a wine to be considered “clean,” it must be grown using organic, biodynamic, or verified sustainable farming practices. At Thrive Market, we’re interested in wines that represent terroir to the fullest. We source bottles from small and mid-size producers, look for minimal to no irrigation when possible, and many bottles use methods such as minimal fining and filtration.
