France’s southern Mediterranean coast is home to Languedoc-Roussillon, one of the country’s oldest winegrowing regions. This is where fourth-generation grape growers serve as caretakers to vines growing on the family-owned estate. To support a healthy ecosystem, the winery avoids herbicides and chemical fertilizers, and uses ploughing and organic compost to tend the soil.
