Super for you
Even though I never bought into the hype over these when they first started getting their super food status, I decided to give them a try. I have to admit I have more energy, am hungrier less and I snack less.
Eating such a healthy food also pushed me to eat more healthy foods!

Not at all like twigs
After my heart attack, I had to get serious about my health, what I ate, exercise and not feeling guilty for taking care of me. The trainer at the gym suggested whole chia seeds. She said the best brand is Spectrum Essentials and that she buys hers from Thrive Market.
Even after a heart attack, I really didn't like the idea of eating roots and twigs. When I tossed the chia seeds into my oatmeal in the morning, I could barely tell the difference. The same for my salad in the afternoon. But by that evening, I could tell these little seeds were working for me. High in fiber, I had energy to spare!

Chia Seeds for your Health
I don't believe in "superfoods" or "miracle" foods, but I definitely love my chia seeds. A coworker turned me onto them after telling me that it really changed his life and his energy levels, and since I've been feeling pretty tired and sleepy with the winter season, I thought I'd give it a try. They've worked surprisingly well! They tend to absorb water in anything you mix it with, so you'll want to add extra water to whatever you're making, but I notice that I'm getting up earlier in the mornings and I don't feel like a mid-day nap any more. I'm still experimenting, but I love drinking it in water and in my oatmeal. I plan on keeping these a regular part of my diet.

OK. So every time I hear or read this word those commercials pop in my head. I had to try the hype and see what it was all about.
The texture of these is weird to me. They are good in some things, by I am definitely not a fan of chia pudding. I am still learning different recipes though and am glad to have introduced another healthy product into my diet.

New to the chia world
I had eaten chia seeds in pre-made items in the past, but never bought them to use myself. A good friend recommended baking with them, as a replacement for xantham gum (which can get a bit pricey).
With some experimenting I am now happy with the results and use chia seeds regularly. I love this brand and love the great prices on Thrive Market!

Still figuring out how to use
I bought these chia seeds for their benefits. I heard they're good for digestion and they have omega 3, and that they also have a lot of fiber.
But I'm not sure how to use it the best way. I sprinkle it on my cereal and yogurt, but I want to be able to cook with it in my normal meals, and haven't found how to do it. So that's why I gave it only three stars.
Helathy addition to lots of food
I work out a lot and fitness is huge for me. I'm not on a specific diet plan, but I do like raw and organic stuff. Chia seeds are great when it comes to suppressing your appetite.
They are packed with fiber which is why you feel full quicker, and they also have Omega 3, which I need because I don't eat fish. I add it to yogurt, smoothies and main dishes, and barely taste it except for the crunch.

Great for my stomach
I'd heard of the health benefits of chia seeds before, but never tried it until I bought these. You can put them in water and they'll dissolve kind of like a gel, but I just sprinkle them on oatmeal and cereal.
The seeds are wonderful, and they make you feel full quickly. You eat less, feel more energized and they also clear up indigestion and stomach aches well.

Keeps me full longer
This product helps keep me full longer so I am able to control my appetite. I put it in my yogurt, cereal and shake! It adds fiber to my diet plus its a good source of omega 3.

Full of omegas and non-GMO!
If you're looking for a health supplement, chia seeds are a good alternative route to go. My sister in law turned me on to them. I sprinkle them on my food or into a drink, and you can't taste them. They make you feel full. This is a really good brand because among other things it is non-GMO.

Non-pill supplement for the veggie-deprived
These seeds have been a quick and easy way for me to get more fiber into my diet. I have a hard time getting enough vegetables, so this is a good, natural dietary supplement that's not in pill form and easier for my body to absorb. I add chia seeds to smoothies and my morning oatmeal. They have a nice nutty flavor, and I even seem to wake up faster and have more energy throughout the day!

Essential in my kitchen
I'm happy that Thrive carries chia seeds at such a fair price. They're one of my favorite super foods and I love them in smoothies and almost everything I cook!
I love infusing chia seeds with water for a quick fiber and antioxidant boost. Spectrum's chia seeds are a pretty great deal on Thrive!
