Great price on maca for our smoothies
We use maca regularly in our smoothies and unless I'm specifically wanting red maca or gelatinized maca, this is what we use most often. It's a bit more affordable than some without sacrificing quality. So far we are very pleased with it.

Good quality and price
Good as any other maca i've purchased and great to get in a 16oz bag.
I typically add maca powder to smoothies and chia puddings. This brand leaves a very distinct bitter taste that seems to amplify and become more intense over time.
I am very happy this is organic. It is as good of quality as the name brand. I use it every morning in my Superfood Protein Smoothie.
Great value, delicious product!
I'm on a sweetener and fruit free diet currently, and love the subtle sweetness this maca adds to nut balls and protein shakes! Plus, it gives you that adaptogenic boost of energy and vitality without jitters or crashes. The only downer is I recently discovered it isn't made in a gluten-free facility, which will prevent me from buying it in the future. Bummer.

Good product. Only downside is the zip top doesn't close properly.
I love this stuff. I put it in my breakfast smoothies every day. It smells really strong, but I haven't ever tasted it in my smoothies.
Organic Maca Powder
Maca powder gives me a calm energy ...none of that "erratic stressed out gotta get stuff done feeling" but
a" feeling of I can do that and I can do it well and it won't take me long to get it done" energy.
I am so glad that I gave it a try.
I don't notice so much of a butterscotch taste as nutty unfamiliar taste
Only 1 week but...
So far so good big coffee drinker going 5 days with out it. I replaced it with a Maca / cacao drink my energy levels are better than any other time I attempted to quit coffee
Ive been looking for ways to help out my aunt with her mood and energy levels. She's had 3 surgeries this year. I make her smoothies in the morning and tried out the maca. She said it has a nutty bitter flavor but we both enjoy all the benefits. It has changed her moods and she is more active!
This tastes so, so good. Nice, even energy boost and help in balancing out hormones.
Whoa, this stuff definitely gives me a boost of lasting energy with no crash. It tastes a little worse than it smells, but I usually mix it in with oatmeal or a fruit smoothie and it's not so bad. It's worth the positive effect it has on my energy and mood.
Best Smoothie Energy-Booster
Love adding maca into smoothies and smoothie bowls for an extra energy boost, especially in the mornings. It has a mild butterscotch-y taste, and you won't even know it's there. Plus Thrive's is literally half the cost of most maca powders on the market, and ethically sourced too.
It smells delish and sweet. I have been putting it in my green smoothies so I don't really know how it tastes. I can't say that my mood and energy levels have changed but it does help with the libido but that's not why I bought it. Also, I may be cutting back now that I see it's good for fertility too. I've got one kid and that is enough! =)
Although there's a bit of a bitter taste, there are so many benefits to maca powder especially if staying active/fit is part of your routine. I include this maca in my pre-workout shakes when I know I'm doing cardio. It's prefect for endurance and stamina. I am amazed with how inexpensive this is for the amount you get!
