The Thrive Gives program is one of the initiatives we’re most proud of at Thrive Market because it helps us deliver on our mission to make healthy living easy and affordable for every American family. New to Thrive Gives? It’s simple: For every paid member who joins Thrive Market, we provide a free membership to someone in need—primarily teachers, students, low-income families, veterans, and first responders around the country.
This month we’re introducing you to Lindsey, a rural mom who lives three hours from the closest healthy grocery store. Shopping on ThriveMarket.com has empowered her family to not only save precious time, but also to save money on the essentials needed to follow a ketogenic diet.
Definitely the cost savings. Having access tserence.
We’re so grateful for the Thrive Gives program! And honestly, the possibility of winning Thrive Cash to help with food costs was appealing, too.
Eating well can be a huge sacrifice for hard-working, low-income families—your donations make a difference!
I travel with my husband and son about three hours away for regular medical appointments. There’s a Whole Foods and a Trader Joe’s a little over two hours away on this route so that’s when we’ll stock up on organic cream cheese, organic bell peppers, and other deals we can find, but Thrive Market continues to offer the best prices for shelf-stable products. We depend on a local warehouse store for some ingredients, and our local ALDI carries a small assortment of organic produce and grass-fed meat, but it can be pricier. We’re so thankful for the Thrive Market Goods line, which has made it easier for our family to afford the items we need.
Anything from Thrive Market Goods! We always stock up on coconut flour, canned tomato products, tuna, herbs and spices, ghee, Dijon mustard, avocado oil, apple cider vinegar, arrowroot powder, and chia seeds.
We open the box like kids in a candy store! Then we put it all away in our cupboards.
We cook three meals a day from scratch using Thrive Market pantry items to make dishes like homemade pizza sauce, pasta sauce for zoodles, sugar-free ketchup for Sloppy Joe’s, or tuna sandwiches. Following a keto diet has helped my husband feel much better, so we’re trying to stick with it.
Fresh is best and organic does make a difference. Health is a lifestyle—not an activity!
