Before your next adventure, make a batch of this easy DIY insect repellent to help keep mosquitos and other pests away. Witch hazel is a natural astringent known for soothing skin irritated from blisters and bites, and when combined with drops of woody cedarwood essential oil and invigorating lemon essential oil, it can help protect your body all summer long.
One 8-ounce spray bottle
½ cup witch hazel
½ cup water
1 tablespoon rubbing alcohol
40 drops Thrive Market Organic Lemongrass Essential Oil
40 drops Thrive Market Organic Cedarwood Essential Oil
Funnel all ingredients into spray bottle and shake well. Spray onto skin and gently rub in. Reapply every 2 to 3 hours, as needed. Store in a cool, dry place.
