If you’re drained from the daily grind, a caffeinated cocktail should do the trick! This martini blends bold Arabica cold brew coffee with sweet orange liqueur, a splash of cream, and a shot of vodka. If you’re short on time, make the maple-infused simple syrup a day ahead, then all you’ll have to do is shake and serve.

For the simple syrup
¼ cup maple syrup
¼ cup water
For the cocktail
½ cup ice
1 cup Kohana Organic Cold Brew Coffee Concentrate
3 ounces vodka
1 ounce orange liqueur
2 ounces heavy cream
Reserved simple syrup
Charred orange slices, for serving
Make the simple syrup
Warm maple syrup and water in a small saucepan on medium heat. Bring to a simmer and cook 3 to 5 minutes, until slightly reduced. Remove from heat and let cool.
Make the cocktail
Pour coffee, vodka, liqueur, heavy cream, and all of the simple syrup into a cocktail shaker. Add ice and shake well. Strain into 2 martini glasses, and garnish with orange slices before serving.
