Kelly LeVeque, a certified holistic nutritionist, wellness expert, and celebrity health coach, introduced the Fab Four philosophy in her first book, “Body Love.” The concept, which involves eating clean protein, fat, fiber, and greens in every meal, seeks to eliminate the confusion around healthy eating. Her second book, “Body Love Every Day” takes the Fab Four a step further and applies it to four different archetypes: the Girl on the Go, the Domestic Goddess, the Plant-Based Devotee, and Red Carpet Ready (for those wanting to fast-track their progress).
Wondering which type matches your lifestyle? Read our interview with LeVeque to learn more about the four archetypes. She also shares four smoothie recipes—one for each type—from her new book.
After releasing my first book, “Body Love,” I received many questions about how to adapt the Fab Four philosophy to different lifestyles. Even though the point of the Fab Four is that it’s flexible and easily adaptable, readers wanted some specific examples, and I wanted to help them take ownership of that process. “Body Love Every Day” contains 21-day plans for different archetypes of women. Each plan is like a jumping off point to help them get started with the Fab Four.
The Fab Four works for any lifestyle. No matter what your days look like, letting protein, fat, collagen, fiber, and greens be the backbone of your meals will help you feel and function your best.
Sure! The Girl on the Go prioritizes her health, but doesn’t want to spend hours doing it. She prefers simple wellness routines and quick meals made in 30 minutes or less.
The Domestic Goddess focuses on building a healthy home for herself and her family through thoughtful and wholesome nutrition. She does her best to promote a balanced and body-loving home.
The Plant-Based Devotee is committed to eating a predominantly plant-based diet, while still focusing on keeping her blood sugar stable and hunger calm so she can fully enjoy the plant-loving lifestyle.
The Red-Carpet Ready plan is for anyone with health goals on a tight deadline. Whether for a big event or getting back in gear after a big event (hello, childbirth!), this woman wants a body-loving boost to jump-start her progress.
These recipes are always on rotation at my house: Roasted Black Bean Burgers, the Cowboy Skillet, Shrimp Scampi with Zoodles, Coconut Cauliflower Rice with Sweet Coconut Chicken and Broccoli—and all the smoothies!
I love the Spa Smoothie for a light and refreshing feel. (See below for the recipe!) I also love the Cookies and Cream Smoothie because it can really hit the spot when you have a sweet craving, but it’ll still leave you feeling satisfied.
