Share the Health & Send $500 in Free Groceries to 10 Deserving Winners

To us, the holidays are about giving back and remembering what really matters. That’s why we’re excited to bring back our Share the Health campaign, where we ask you to nominate deserving friends and family for their chance to win $500 in free groceries. And because this year marks Thrive Market’s 10th birthday, we’re giving away free groceries to 10 people who could use some extra holiday cheer! 

Share the Health 2024 

It’s called our Share the Health campaign because it’s a way for you to share the gift of healthy, organic, and sustainable groceries with someone you know who could use a helping hand. Whether it’s a teacher who always puts their classroom first or a family down the street that’s had an especially tough year, we want to hear about those special people in your community. (Check out the three great people we surprised last year here.)

Here’s how you can Share the Health: 

Step 1: Nominate a deserving person or family 

Know someone who deserves this gift? Tell us their stories! Use this form between 10/5/24 and 10/19/24 to tell us who you’re nominating, what makes them special, and why they mean so much to you.*

Step 2: We’ll randomly pick 10 winners 

We’ll contact you via email if your nominee wins, and talk through details for telling them the good news and sharing their story with our community. You and your nominee might just get an in-person, on-camera surprise visit, too! 

Step 3: Each winner will receive $500 in healthy groceries 

Each randomly selected winner will get a free one-year Thrive Market membership and $500 in Thrive Market grocery credit to help stock their pantry this holiday season.

Since day one, every new paid annual Thrive Market membership sponsors a free one-year membership for a teacher, nurse, first responder, student, veteran, or family in financial need through our Thrive Gives program. It’s not only about memberships — as part of our ongoing work toward Food Equality Now, members can make a donation at checkout and support healthy food access for all. To date, we’ve raised more than $16 million in healthy groceries that’s been distributed through grocery discounts to Thrive Gives members and our nonprofit partners FoodCorps and FoodCycle LA that help get healthy food and education to families and kids across the country.
