Start by simmering Flora’s Flor-Essence tea—an herbal supplement blended with organic burdock root, kelp, and red clover blossom—with water. Keep the concentrated base in the fridge for up to three months, and when it’s time for tea, just add warm water, fresh ginger, and honey for a hot, comforting cup.

For the base:
1 package Flora Flor-Essence Dry Tea Blend
4 cups warm water
For the detox tea:
½ cup water
3 (¼-inch thick) slices fresh ginger
¼ cup brewed Flora Flor-Essence
2 teaspoons honey
Make the base:
Bring water to boil in a large saucepan over medium heat. Empty contents of 1 tea bag into the water; stir and cover. Let tea boil for 10 to 12 minutes; remove from heat. Let sit at room temperature for 10 to 12 hours, then refrigerate in an airtight container for up to 3 months.
Make the detox tea:
Bring ½ cup water to a boil in a small saucepan. Add ginger and simmer for 5 minutes; discard ginger. Add ¼ cup of the brewed tea base to a mug, then top with steeped ginger water. Stir in honey, if using.
