It not only warms you up while you relax, but can soothe your tummy, too. There are classic flavor additions like cinnamon, cloves, and a hint of orange, plus a pinch of aloe booster powder, a gentle digestive supplement made with peppermint, coriander, turmeric, and probiotics. And if you’re a social butterfly, not to worry—this drink is perfect for a crowd, too. Just double or triple the recipe so everyone can fill their mugs.

Hot Mulled Apple Cider

Yield: 3 servings

4 cups apple cider
1 teaspoon New Chapter Fermented Aloe Booster Powder
1 3-inch stick of cinnamon, plus more for serving
⅛ teaspoon ground cloves
⅛ teaspoon ground allspice
3 orange slices, plus more for serving


Place cider and aloe booster powder in a saucepan and whisk until blended. Add cinnamon stick, spices, and orange slices. Warm on medium heat for about 20 minutes; strain. Pour into mugs and serve with additional orange slices and cinnamon sticks
