There’s an easy way to get into your morning flow, and it doesn’t involve hiking up an active volcano at dawn. Just head to the kitchen and blend up a tropical-inspired coconut smoothie base (with 20g of protein per serving!), then swirl a sweet strawberry sauce over the top. To help with morning prep, freeze the fruit overnight so it’s ready when you are.
For the strawberry topping: 1 cup frozen strawberries 1 tablespoon maple syrup 1 teaspoon lemon juice Water, if needed
Make the smoothie:
Blend almond milk, banana, and protein powder until smooth. Pour smoothie into a glass.
Make the topping:
Rinse the blender, then blend strawberries, maple syrup, and lemon juice until smooth. Add water, 1 tablespoon at a time, if needed. Carefully pour over the coconut smoothie to create two layers.
