Molly Sims’ Morning Routine

Model, actress and busy mom Molly Sims knows a little something about healthy living.

Eating right and finding time to exercise is not easy when you’re bouncing between television appearances and photoshoots. In her latest book, The Everyday Supermodel, Sims shares some of her secrets to keeping up a healthy lifestyle — even when things get hectic. She gave us a peek into her morning routine.

Here’s how she kicks off her days:

I get up around 6:30 a.m. I make a bottle for Brooksie, feed our lab Duke and make coffee for myself. I also get breakfast and Brooksie’s school lunch together. I love making gluten-free pancakes or muffins, or eating gluten-free granola.

For his school lunch, I’ll pack cucumbers, red peppers, Justin’s organic almond butter and a gluten-free cookie. I also love Bonne Maman strawberry preserves for Brooks’ lunch.

After breakfast and lunch prep, I bring up the bottle to Brooksie’s room and then bring him into bed and watch the Today Show or GMA! Thirty minutes later, we start to get  dressed and ready for school.

After I drop Brooks off at school, I come home and exercise before starting my work day. I love to do yoga or Pilates with Emily Tremaine or work out with Tracy Anderson.
