Here’s a sweet take on breakfast, inspired by a favorite dessert duo! The creamy base is made with almond milk, banana, dates, and vanilla protein powder, and the fruity sauce blends strawberries, raspberries, more protein powder, and a touch of honey. Swirl it, sip it, and sprint out the door.

For the strawberry sauce:
1 cup sliced strawberries
1 cup raspberries
¼ cup water
½ scoop Orgain Organic Superfoods Powder, Berry
1 tablespoon honey
For the smoothie:
1 ripe banana
1 scoop Orgain Organic Protein Powder, Vanilla
1 cup Orgain Almond Milk
2 dates, pitted
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
Ice
Make the strawberry sauce:
Add all ingredients to a small saucepan and simmer over medium-low heat until berries break down, about 8 to 10 minutes. Off heat, smash berries with a fork, then strain to remove seeds. Refrigerate 10 minutes.
Make the smoothie:
Add all ingredients (except strawberry sauce) to a blender and purée until smooth. Pour half the strawberry sauce along the inside of a glass in a circular motion, then add half the smoothie; repeat with second glass. Add straws, swirl, and enjoy!
