Turn off or put away your phone, computer and tablet at least an hour before going to bed.
Research has shown that the blue light from electronics can inhibit your ability to sleep. This specific kind of light suppresses melatonin, the hormone that helps you fall asleep.
Other studies have shown that exposure to bright lights at night disrupts natural circadian rhythms and can even be linked to diseases including cancer, diabetes, heart disease and obesity.
All in all, we think we'll skip checking our phones before bed.
