Sometimes you just need a grilled cheese. And when it’s vegan, even better! Our new plant-based mayo is the perfect addition. Slather it onto whole wheat bread, and add a cheese alternative to keep the sandwich dairy-free.

1 ½ tablespoons Thrive Market Non-GMO Vegan Mayonnaise, divided
2 slices sprouted whole wheat bread
3 slices vegan cheddar cheese or ⅔ cup shredded vegan cheese
Heat a nonstick skillet on medium-high heat. Spread half the mayonnaise on one slice of bread, then top with cheese. Spread remaining mayo on the second slice of bread and place it on top of the cheese. Cook for 2 to 3 minutes until bread is golden, then flip and continue cooking until cheese has melted.
