Healthy Obsession: Gluten-Free Chicken Noodle Soup That Tastes Like Grandma’s
Last Update: September 29, 2022
Is there anything more comforting, warming, and satisfying than a steaming cup of chicken noodle soup? The problem, though, is it takes either hours to make it from scratch or seconds to microwave a cup that’s loaded with MSG and salt (and short on flavor). Soup lovers need an in-between solution, and we’ve finally found one: Frontier Soups Connecticut Cottage Chicken Noodle Soup.
Inside this mix, you’ll find lasagne corte (gluten-free corn pasta), carrot, onion, corn, peas, celery, shallot, scallion, garlic, and spices—basically everything you need to whip up a batch of almost-homemade, all-natural chicken noodle. You’ll just need to add a little chicken broth, water, and, of course, some cooked chicken!
This easy gluten-free recipe serves four to six, and comes together in about 30 minutes!
Ingredients
1 packet of Frontier Soups Connecticut Cottage Chicken Noodle Soup
1 cup water
6 cups chicken broth
3 cups (about 6 oz.) grilled and shredded chicken breast
Instructions
In a 3- or 4-quart pot, bring broth and water to a boil. Add chicken and contents of the seasoning packet in the soup mix. Simmer 10 minutes, covered.
Add the noodles, return to a boil, reduce, and simmer again for 10 minutes, covered. Turn off heat and allow to stand 5 minutes.
Enjoy and share! And if chicken noodle isn’t your jam, Frontier Soups has options for every palate, from Chicago Bistro French Onion and Wyoming Fireside Beef Goulash to Idaho Outpost Potato Leek and Mississippi Tomato Delta Basil.
