Staggering Statistic: Pizza Hut’s Surprising Spend on Kale

Before 2013, when kale started catching on with mainstream America, the largest buyer of the leafy green was Pizza Hut.

But the pizza chain doesn’t even serve kale. It was used solely as a garnish on their salad bars.
