Potent ginger, black pepper, and turmeric wake you up without caffeine in this new take on the morning latte. Inspired by Ayurvedic medicine, it makes use of liver-cleansing dandelion root tea to rejuvenate the whole body.Â
Yield: 1 cup
Total Time: 5 minutes
1 bag roasted dandelion root tea
1/2 teaspoon ground turmeric
1/4 teaspoon minced ginger
Pinch of freshly ground black pepper
Unsweetened almond milk, to taste
Raw honey, to taste
Brew a large cup of roasted dandelion root tea. Stir in turmeric, ginger, and black pepper, and let steep 8 to 10 minutes. Lighten with some almond milk and stir in honey, if desired.
