Transforming green veggies into something crave-worthy is as easy as throwing them in the oven to roast. This method works especially well with broccolini, which is a bit milder in flavor than regular broccoli—the tops crisp up and the stalks get tender.  Here, traditional Japanese flavors of coconut aminos, nori, and sesame take the dish up a notch.
Yield: 4 servings
Active Time: 5 minutes
Total Time: 12Â minutes
For the broccolini
2 bunches broccolini
1/4 cup sesame oil
1 tablespoon coconut aminos
For the nori salt
1 sheet toasted nori, shredded
2 teaspoons sesame seeds, toasted
1/2 teaspoon cayenne pepper
1 tablespoon large-flake sea salt
1/2 teaspoon freshly ground black pepper
Make the broccolini
Preheat oven to 400 degrees.
Toss broccolini with sesame oil and coconut aminos. Spread in a single layer on two baking sheets and roast in oven until crispy, about 8 minutes.
Make the nori salt
In a small bowl, stir together shredded nori, sesame seeds, cayenne, salt, and pepper.
Sprinkle broccolini with nori salt and serve.
