Hummus might be firmly planted in the savory category, and with good reason—it’s a protein-fueled wonder snack. But today we’re giving it a sweet twist. That’s right, hummus for … dessert! This bean dip is the perfect post-dinner nibble with the addition of vanilla beans, vanilla extract, a sugar replacement, and non-dairy milk. Serve it with fruit slices for a satisfying—yet guilt-free—nosh.

Vanilla Bean Dessert Hummus

Yield: 2 to 3 servings
Active Time: 10 minutes

Ingredients

1 (15-ounce) can white beans, drained and rinsed
¼ cup almond flour
Seeds from ½ vanilla bean
2 teaspoon vanilla extract
2 to 3 drops Thrive Market Organic Liquid Stevia
¼ teaspoon Thrive Market Baking Soda
⅛ teaspoon sea salt
2 to 3 tablespoons Thrive Market Organic Almond Beverage

Instructions

Add all ingredients except almond milk to a food processor; blend until smooth. Add almond milk 1 tablespoon at a time, until desired consistency is reached. Refrigerate in an airtight container for up to 1 week.
