When it comes to making recipes healthier without compromise, we’re all about it. Our nonpareils—based on the old-school movie theater candy also known as Sno Caps—are no exception. While these dark-chocolate buttons are typically topped with white sugar beads or sprinkles, we’ve opted for something more fun, and much better for you—superfoods like bee pollen, hemp seeds, shredded coconut, or sesame seeds!

8 ounces dark chocolate
3/4 teaspoon melted coconut oil
Toppings
Bee pollen
Sesame seeds
Hemp seeds
Shredded coconut
Line a baking sheet with parchment paper and set aside.
Melt the chocolate with the coconut oil in a medium-sized heatproof bowl set over a simmering pot of water, stirring occasionally until smooth.
Spoon the melted chocolate in quarter-size circles on prepared baking sheet. Let cool for 20 minutes, then top each chocolate button with toppings. Let harden in the fridge 20 minutes. Store covered in the fridge.
