Multigrain Pancake & Waffle mix
Love this product
These pancakes are good. They are little dry, but I have found that most whole grain pancakes tend to be dryer than the buttermilk versions. All in all, I would buy them again.
Our family doesn't really like eggs. Due to my high cholesterol, we just try not to keep them in the house. It used to be one of my favorites, and now we never have it around. Unfortunately, most packaged pancake mixes call for it which means I'm tempted to eat the rest of them so "none go to waste". It's not good for my diet, and we gave up on pancakes until we found Arrowhead Mills.
This mix doesn't require eggs for the pancakes. You just need oil, the mix, and some water, and you're good to go! The kids get their pancakes back, I'm not tempted to make bad health decisions, and the pancakes are pretty delicious. Win on all accounts.

If you're new to switching over to whole grains like I was, don't expect too much. The mix is good, and it was pretty simple to make. I think I was just expecting the same fluffy pancakes that I've grown to love. I'm happy to make the change in order to eat healthier and not feel bad about my morning pancakes, but these don't quite have the same taste to them. The pancakes feel a whole lot more "dense" than standard, white fluffy pancakes. However, I've found that adding toppings like sugar-free syrup or chocolate chips helps take the kid's attention off of the taste of the pancake itself. With toppings, this seems to be a good way to help my kids switch over to healthier tastes.
