Reviews For Organic Sunscreen with Zinc Oxide
Based on 8 Reviews
I like this sunscreen b/c it's the only one I do not have an allergic reaction to. My kiddos will wear it b/c of that reason, but they absolutely hate the thickness & whiteness of the cream. It does take some work to blend, but it definitely protects and there is no strong smell from it.
Goes on smooth but as a thick white layer that's near impossible to rub in entirely. I'd like it otherwise.
Hear this is the best sunscreen
Looking for more natural and healthier alternative sunscreens...this one keeps coming up as the best. Have not used it yet...seemed a little pricey for the small container...
Love their stuff so far! Especially the lip balm!
Definitely not a facial sunscreen
I bought this to go under my makeup and it was a bad idea. It's super thick and oily. I ended up washing it off and started over. I have crazy sensitive skin so finding a sunscreen to go on my face has been a challenge. This will be my weekend sunscreen when I go without makeup.
Great for my kids so far!
We have had 100* weather in CA and so far, so good! Five blue eyed blonde haired kids have not gotten sunburned. Isn't smelly or sticky. It's a bit thick and their little faces look white for a little while until it soaks in, but I'm happy with it.
I was first introduced to Badger sunscreen by the Environmental Working Group, which gave it the #1 ranked sunscreen for its nontoxicity. I was surprised at how well it works for hours, has no scent and actually makes my skin look good when I put it on my face (kind of works like a thick moisturizer). I love this brand and was thrilled to see it at Thrive!
An Australian friend of mine introduced me to this sunscreen when we went out for a day hike. You have to really rub the cream in, to avoid getting all streaky. Once you do, it doesn't feel greasy, holds up well against sweat, and above all- after 10 hours in full sunlight, my pasty face was still pasty!
