Making homemade chocolate is surprisingly easy and and uses ingredients you probably already have in your pantry. These little treats are vegan, and can be infinitely customized with various toppings for a healthy treat.

3/4 cup melted coconut oil
8 tablespoons maple syrup
3 tablespoons coconut sugar
3/4 cup cacao powder
1 1/2 teaspoons vanilla extract
1 teaspoon sea salt
Golden berries
Shredded coconut
Cacao nibs
Hemp seeds
Sesame seeds
Dried apricots
Dried cranberries
Line a muffin pan with baking cups.
In a large bowl, mix together the coconut oil, maple syrup, coconut sugar, cacao powder, vanilla, and salt. Pour and divide mixture between 12 molds. Top with desired combination of toppings.
Place tin in freezer or refrigerator at least 2 hours to firm up. Chocolates can be stored in the refrigerator for up to 2 weeks.
