Wish I Had Tried This Flour Sooner
I have heard so many people talk about garbanzo bean flour and I searched every grocery store around town to find it. I was unsuccessful, so I was so happy to find it online. The price is not bad at all. I have to say, I absolutely love this stuff. I've used it in vegan cheese, baking, and even made tortillas. It works so well and is lower in cals and more nutritious than all purpose white flour. It's also easier to use than whole wheat flour and it's gluten free. I've practically finished the bag and will be buying more very soon.

I bought this to make a flatbread recipe but found that it is also good to thicken stews. There are so many recipes this is good for and healthy. Eating vegan is never boring.
Great for Baking
Used as a substitute for wheat flour. Excellent texture and flavor.
This is a good product for certain forms of gluten free baking or general cooking. I do not enjoy it as the main component is something like bread - the taste is too strong. I will continue to buy it for other purposes, however.
Versatile bean flour
Please do buy and use this flour for EVERTHING like we do. We make pure bean flour yeast bread (made just like regular) pizza, perfect pancakes, and even deep fried chicken tenders and onion rings! This is just like flour when baked, only actually beneficial!
I mix it with corn meal to make Fritters, and I enjoy it immensely.
Bob's brand is always good!
The falafel is great! This flour is used in so many things and is great for those trying to keep down on those white flour carbs.
We found a recipe for Garbanzo bean flour waffles that is wonderful! Since then we have been using this flour in lots of other baked goods - crumble on top of fruit crisp is a favorite too!
None of my local grocery or health stores carry this product. It works very well to make "healthy" cookies and treats for picky kids. It also has a high iron content which is great for toddlers that need the iron, but won't eat much.
