Casey Wojtalewicz, Ally Walsh, and James Klapp started Canyon Coffee in a Los Angeles apartment in 2016. Inspired by their daily morning ritual, as well as travels around the world (like enjoying after-dinner espressos in Rome or morning cappuccinos in Paris), they wanted to create an experience for people to enjoy a moment of mindfulness in their own kitchens. The brand took off in neighborhood pop-ups and sold directly to local boutiques before expanding to larger retailers, including places like Thrive Market.
