The idea for Chosen Foods came from the journeys of Carsten Hargen, a well-traveled doctor of naturopathic medicine. His travels brought him across the globe, and he witnessed firsthand the powerful effects traditional superfoods could have on various cultures. As a result, he was inspired to bring these recipes to the rest of the world, so all could benefit from these nutrient-dense products. After several years of planning, creating recipes, and making various improvements, Chosen Foods was born.
