Doctor In The Kitchen
Eating well and following a healthy lifestyle doesn’t mean living snack-free.
Doctor in the Kitchen makes delicious, crunchy bite-sized goodies that are full of flavor, nutrients and wholesome ingredients.
The History of Doctor in the Kitchen
When the Doctor in the Kitchen herself - company co-founder Dr. Alison Levitt, M.D. - started her journey in the organic food space, she knew she wanted to create something that was equally tasty and wholesome. A snack that would satisfy without the use of added preservatives and other unnecessary ingredients. That’s when she developed the recipe for Flackers, a tasty flaxseed cracker, and handed them out to patients in her office. The compliments came rushing in for the crunchy, nutrient-rich treats, demand for them steadily grew, and in 2008, Levitt decided to officially launch Flackers to consumers.
Today, you can find Flackers in six different delicious flavors, including Sea Salt, Savory, Cinnamon and Currants, Tomato Basil, Rosemary and Dill.
