Food For Life
Food For Life is a family-run company that makes whole grain products that are specially designed to suit a variety of dietary needs. Most of their products use sprouted whole grains and are packed with essential nutrition.
The History of Food For Life
Food For Life got its start with Max Torres in 1964. Torres learned about the importance of healthy food while working at a natural foods store. He became obsessed with trying to understand the ways that food can positively impact the body.
Today, Torres’ vision lives on in every product that Food For Life creates. His grandchildren still run the company and find the same joy in making bread, pasta, and cereal that helps people on their own quest for healthy eating.
Food For Life Company Mission
Food For Life is committed to creating baked goods that are wholesome and support a variety of dietary needs. Everything that they do starts with their process. They bake at just the right temperatures to fully sprout their grains and can use up to 18 grains and seeds in a single type of bread. Almost all of their ingredients are USDA Certified Organic and no artificial preservatives, shortenings or refined sugars are ever used.
In addition to making their products the right way, Food For Life designs many of their items to meet specific dietary needs. Whether you’re vegan, diabetic, gluten-free, or yeast-free, Food For Life has something for you to enjoy. All of their diet-specific products are tested and certified by third parties so that their customers can trust that they are eating something that feels good for their bodies. Ultimately, the company sees itself as a resource for people to explore what works for them and makes them feel their absolute healthiest.
