The History of Love Corn

Love Corn was started in 2016 by family members Jamie, Gavin, and Missy McCloskey. In a Forbes interview, Jamie shares “we had our first product run in October 2016 and attended a trade show where we met organic supermarket Planet Organic, who loved the brand and the packaging. We knew we needed to increase our production capacity if we were going to be taken seriously by the big retailers, but we didn’t have the cash to fund it.” Enter Virgin StartUp. A business loan helped with cash flow and allowed Love Corn to launch a larger production run that became a catalyst to the brand’s success and expansion to the U.S.
