The History of Nellie’s

Nellie’s was founded by James Roberts, who created the company to honor his late-mother, named Nellie. Nellie had been looking for simple, natural and environmentally friendly ways to keep her house clean long before it was trendy. Creating a line of products inspired by Nellie’s values felt like the perfect homage. As the company expanded, James created products inspired by his young daughter, childhood dog, and daughter’s favorite toy, Lamby!

Nellie’s Company Mission

All of Nellie’s products are free of toxins and phosphates. Each product is made with the absolute simplest ingredients possible, just like Nellie would have wanted it. That means customers know what they’re putting on their clothes with each and every load. Moving forward, Nellie’s will continue to find innovative ways to lower their impact on the planet. Their environmental resolutions for 2020 include packaging their products in glass, to completely cut down on their plastic usage.
